Veterans Day: Honoring Sacrifice, Service, and Legacy

On this Veterans Day, I am excited and honored to announce the official launch of WARPIG: Wounded And Returning Peers In Groups. A new initiative dedicated to supporting those who have selflessly served our country in military or public service in need in our communities. This day is not just a time to remember and thank our veterans, but to recognize the ongoing sacrifices they continue to make long after their service ends.
As we embark on this mission, remember:
"The warrior is not someone who fights, because no one has the right to take another life. The warrior, for us, is one who sacrifices himself for the good of others. His task is to take care of the elderly, the defenseless, those who cannot provide for themselves, and above all, the children, the future of humanity."
These words resonate deeply with our vision for this charity, as they emphasize the true essence of a warrior: not simply the one who takes up arms, but the one who gives of themselves for the betterment of others. Sitting Bull’s definition of a warrior aligns perfectly with the spirit of our cause—to serve, support, and uplift those in need, especially our fellow veterans and their families.

Why Now?
There has never been a more critical time to provide support for our veterans and 1st responders. Our nation’s servants face numerous challenges, including mental health struggles, homelessness, and underemployment. In honoring our veterans, we want to build a bridge between their past sacrifices and their future. These contributions to their well-being say YOU matter - You are WANTED here - Someone NEEDS you.

How You Can Help.
We invite you to join us in this mission of service. Whether you are a veteran yourself, a family member, or someone who simply wants to make a difference, there are many ways you can get involved. From volunteering to donating or sharing our message, every act of kindness and generosity brings us closer to making a real impact.
Veterans Day is a time for reflection, but also for action. It is a reminder that the warriors who fought for our freedom continue to sacrifice for the greater good. Let us honor them by embodying the spirit of service embodied by my friend that inspired me to create this plan in his honor.
Together, we can ensure that our warriors are never forgotten.

Join Us in This Journey
As we officially launch this charity on Veterans Day, we are filled with gratitude for the service and sacrifices made by our veterans and all those who serve selflessly for the good of others. This is just the beginning, and we can’t do it alone. Your support—whether through volunteering, donations, or spreading the word—will help us make a real and lasting impact.
Thank you for standing with us, standing with our veterans, and standing with those who need us most.

With honor and gratitude,
Matt Bass

Thank you for visiting. Creating this project has been an ongoing personal goal for quite some time and it is at long last becoming realized. I plan to continually add and create further information related to events and education related to mental and physical well being as a Veteran and 1st Responder Community. If you would like to be involved in my events please let me know as currently this is a solo project and have no volunteers. I am always happy to talk about goals and plans. I feel put on this earth to help others and in doing so provides the missing piece to a puzzle. Carpe Omnia!
